Is this your biggest weight loss challenge?
When it comes to weight loss there are no easy paths that lead to long term results. To lose excess weight change must occur, as with anything in life if you want something you don’t have you must do something you have never done. You are not alone in having a challenging time trying to lose weight.
Have you ever thought that your biggest weight loss challenge may be staying accountable to someone other than yourself?
If you had to report in weekly to a coach about your training effort, consistency along with how well you are eating you are more likely to stick to your plan. Do you really want to start a check in meeting with your coach with ‘Mate I have been having a tub of ice cream every night’ or ‘Look, I just didn’t want to train the last week’? This person you are holding yourself accountable to doesn’t need to be your coach, it can be a family member, partner or friend but we suggest your coach as they can help tailor your training and assist with nutritional advice.
There needs to be structure in place to be held accountable. Simply having a casual conversation with your coach every now and then won’t be formal enough to keep you on track. From day one your coaches should be aware of what you are wanting to achieve (eg. Lose 5 kilograms in 15 weeks). Ariston CrossFit requires all members to complete a goal sheet (read about goal setting here) in their No Sweat Intro. Combined with our ability to tailor your membership to best suit your goals we can offer you regular check ins with our coaches where you will be held accountable to your plan.
We believe in supporting you in your weight loss journey in more ways than just physical training. We work with The Chief Life professional nutritionists and CrossFit seminar staff to offer you custom meal plans that will further help you lose weight effectively and keep it off.
